We custom sculpted our zipper pulls and gave them a nice taper and heft and strengthened them above standard. They feel oh so good. Placed on large YKK VIzlon™ teeth on the entire bag-this is the most enduring zipper available and much easier to fix if ever jammed than common coil zippers.

I love this bag

Functionally, this bag has everything you need, right where you need it. Easy access to things on the go.

Aesthetically, it’s professional yet stylish. Very balanced in terms how much it holds without looking bulky.

Incredible for many reasons

This pack has quickly become my most used daily carry backpack.

There are so many features that stand out, I will name a few here: incredible design aesthetic is #1. The pack looks as good as it functions.

Next is the fact that the front admin pocket organizes your tech items, but also allows you to fit your entire tech pouch in that same pocket. This is something I didn’t even know how much I needed in my life until I never had to unpack the main compartment to get to my tech gear in another bag.

Finally, the main compartment has a slim profile to it. This is so important because it will actually allow you to stack pouches or headphones and they won’t be swimming all over the place because of the slim main compartment profile. This is key.

I do have one major area of feedback and one more minor area of feedback for the pioneer team:

First, the places where the interior lining is black, it makes things tough to see and in-turn, tough to grab things quickly at times. If you could carry that gray interior (or even a lighter interior color) that’s in the front admin area to all aspects of the main compartment and the laptop compartment, that would be amazing. High visibility lining really does make a different in the day to day usage.

And lastly, if there was a ways to integrate a sternum strap, that would put this bag over the top. I certainly understand it can compromise the aesthetic of the pack, however is it extremely functional and useful, especially when traveling and carrying/rolling multiple bags.

Amazing pack

The materials and overall aesthetic of this pack are absolutely perfect. The most unique aspect is the amount of space in the front pocket, perfect to drop in a tech pouch. And I love that the main compartment is not too wide, it allows you to easily stack pouches for EDC. Also the self-standing aspect is amazing. My favorite EDC pack to date!
