PREMIUM ZIPS

We custom sculpted our zipper pulls and gave them a nice taper and heft and strengthened them above standard. They feel oh so good. Placed on large YKK VIzlon™ teeth on the entire bag-this is the most enduring zipper available and much easier to fix if ever jammed than common coil zippers.

So very meh

I want to love this bag, I really do. Writing this while wrapping up my first trip with the backpack.

Pros:
The bag stands up on its own, even empty. Super convenient.
Zippers are super satisfying
Great green color and bag texture is thick

Cons:
Bag is heavy, but not too much of a concern for me
Front pockets are hugely disappointing, I’m barely able to fit a glasses case and energy bar in the top pocket and I’m cramming my fairly empty tech pouch in the lower one. Not as functional as I’d want it to be.
The straps aren’t great and they’re stiff. I imagine they’re loosen up but the straps like to wing out both when using the luggage pass through as well as it laying on its back. I had to regularly fidget with the backpack to keep the strap from drooping into the aisle of my airplane flight while under the seat in front of me.

Just like my review of the Safari pack, this is probably too cumbersome to return so I’m gonna keep it and try to learn to love it but I think a v3 iteration is probably due.

Overly Impressed

Was skeptical - liked the general aesthetics but was hesitant because of so many reviews online calling out different aspects of the bag. After owning this bag for a few weeks, all the online reviews and concerns really vanished. It is super beautiful, comfortable, super super well made, and I feel like I will use this bag forever. Highly recommend.

Incredible everyday pack

I’ve been using the Pioneer Carry Duration Pack for a while now, and it’s hands-down one of the best bags I’ve owned. The materials are top notch and you can feel the quality every time you pick it up. The zippers are buttery smooth, the straps are incredibly comfortable, and the whole bag just feels thoughtfully designed.

I especially love how the main compartment opens all the way for easy access, and the fact that the bag stands on its own is a small but hugely appreciated detail. Everything about this pack feels intentional and premium. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something durable, functional, and stylish.
