Matter Bifold

I found this wallet after a lot of research in trying to find a new one for my husband that fit everything he was looking for and he’s been loving it. No leather because he runs warm and it tends to get sweaty, a slim profile in the front pocket, and plenty of space to fit cards and some cash and keep it organized to his liking. The material seems durable and like it’ll age really nicely and the look matches well with his other EDC. Highly recommend!

The customer service at Pioneer is top-tier! It has been great working with Jean on email where she is always very kind and prompt, even through returns. The whole return process was simple and straightforward.
One note to consider in Pioneer wallets: You are buying a synthetic wallet, so it has a more sporty look that could still be "luxury" for more formal settings.
I purchased the Matter Bifold, and as I expected from reading past reviews, the wallet was stiff and needed to be broken in. After two weeks of use in my back pocket, I am very happy with my purchase. The wallet is very slim, almost as slim as the Molecule cardholder, yet I can carry more bills and it has an extra card slot.
I was not aware that the 10XD material is so sleek, as my two front pockets have never held more than a single card each and yet the cards can still easily slide straight out if you hold the wallet upside down and gently shake it. Any pressure whatsoever on the sleeves and the cards obviously stay in. Just one design flaw that I read about in the reviews and Yes: the reviews were right - the cards can fall out, even if you have never overstuffed them with more than a single card.
Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of my Matter Bifold wallet and most of its functionality.

I purchased the Matter Bifold 2 years ago and appreciate the compact size. I have had no issues with the wallet until this year when in Cape Town South Africa and one of the cards in the wallet was scanned while walking around at a local mall. The physical card is rarely used by me, and was kept in one of the pockets that is closest to the outside of the wallet. I’m not sure if the chip on the card was closer to the top or the bottom of the sleeve of the wallet but with in 12 minutes of leaving the mall I began to receive purchase notifications from stores at the mall I just left from. I of the issues I see is that with the compact size of the wallet the credit cards stick out slight at the top which could possibly be enough to prevent the RFID capabilities of the wallet.
